For beginner scuba divers, Komodo offers an exciting and unique opportunity to explore the underwater world. However, diving in Komodo can also be challenging, especially for those new to the sport. Here are some tips to help beginner scuba divers make the most of their Komodo diving experience:
Take a Try Dive: If you're new to scuba diving, consider starting with a Try Dive. This is a great way to get a taste of scuba diving without committing to a full certification course. Our company offers Try Dives, also known as "discover scuba" in Komodo National Park, where you'll be accompanied by a qualified instructor who will guide you through your first underwater experience. This will give you a great introduction into what if feel like to experience the amazing underwater world of Komodo. All while being accompanied by a trained professional scuba diving instructor.
Get Certified: If you decide to continue with scuba diving, we recommend getting certified. Our company offers Open Water and Advanced Certification courses in Komodo National Park. These courses will teach you the necessary skills and knowledge to dive safely and confidently in open water. You will learn many skills to help you feel better about diving and practice all the safety rules for proper scuba diving. Plan Your Dive: Before diving, it's important to plan your dive. Talk with your instructor or dive guide about the dive site, depth, and any potential hazards. Know your limits and communicate with your dive buddy and guide throughout the dive.
