What to do in Flores, Indonesia?
Flores offers a range of attractions for visitors. Some popular activities include exploring the Kelimutu National Park with its unique colored lakes, visiting traditional villages to experience local culture, relaxing on beautiful beaches like Pink Beach, and diving or snorkeling in the pristine waters around the island.
What to do in Komodo National Park?
Komodo National Park offers incredible opportunities for adventure and nature enthusiasts. Visitors can embark on guided tours to see the magnificent Komodo dragons in their natural habitat, hike scenic trails on Rinca and Komodo Islands, go snorkeling or scuba diving.

As in any place you visit, it is always polite to respect the culture and be aware of the local customs. As far as on the boat, the National park, has become an international tourist destination, so beach attire is completely normal now. As far as in the town, you may feel better to not walk around in bathing suits as you will not see the locals doing this.
What is the benefit of taking a Komodo multi-day trip?
The benefit of taking a Komodo multi-day trip is that it allows you to explore more of the park's top sites at a relaxed pace, enjoy extended diving or snorkeling sessions, and experience stunning locations like Komodo Island, Padar Island, and Manta Point without feeling rushed. Plus, you can avoid peak crowds and take in the beauty of the park during sunrise and sunset from the comfort of your liveaboard boat.

"We took a 2d1n trip with them.
From the very start we were very impressed with Ridwan our guide. He was very accomodating, great communication ability and his command in English. He is very knowledgeable and have never shyed from answering my 101 questions, my apologies for being such a curious cat.
Although there is a few hiccups at the start of the trip pertaining to the arrangements (But this is a separate issue with the operator), Ridwan was quick to jump in and assist me to get it sorted out. I find this very very comforting and commandable on his part, simply because it wasn't his responsibility but he took it upon himself to help us get it sorted out. A special thank you to you for this.
Food onboard is delicious! Kudos to Rian for the food, I even manage to get his omelette recipe. There are constant snacks and drinks that filled our trip such that we didn't even have a need to snack up or eat the instant noodle we brought onboard. Hehehe. My only regret is forgetting to ask Rian his watermelon juice recipe... it was amaze-balls!.
The rest of the crew were just amazinggggg! All of them are multitalented such that we do not need to rely on solely ridwan to communicate with us. Our trip was memorable and we bring back different memories with each and everyone of them.
Thank you Rian and Sabda for becoming our highlight entertainment, singing for us along the way. *Hint hint* If you're a talent agent you need to uncover this 2 gem.
Captain Sarif is knowledgeable and entertaining. We spend the night laughing non-stop at his jokes! His humour has distracted me from the fact that I was giddy onboard. Hhahaha.
Labuan Bajo is indeed freaking beautiful, the islands are all a gem. We saw beautiful huge mantas while snorkelling, we didnt get to see turtles butttttt.... we saw a baby shark. It's been awhile since I snorkled so I initially had some difficulty snorkling .. lo and behold Fadli was constantly around to check on me with his speedboat until I am comfortable. I am truly grateful to Fadli, because his presence provide a degree of comfort to me to not give up on the snorkeling activity. I think when we engaged a tour, we definitely want these kind of crews around to look out for us. #Blessed
Padar Island is indeed worth the hike, the view is just beautiful, Pink beach was a gem on its own..crystal clear water, beautiful corals and the best part is it was just us so it feels like our own little private beach.
And I highly recommend to engage them as their companion on its own is a standalone factor to make your trip memorable.
We were especially blessed considering Ridwan has amazing photography skills and he will always direct me to the best spot to take photos. He is such a nice person, that another group hijacked him from us while we are all resting at one of the destination, and he gladly accomodated them as well. I think this just speaks volume about his character as a person.
I've been to many trips and engaged many tours with guides, but I personally feel that Ridwan's dedication to his job and his skill has made him the best guide I have experience!
We had a blast living our life as "anak kapal" for 1 night, and for that we are trully grateful for the time and companion. We were truly entertained, and the experience we had were truly memorable. Thank you to every single one of the crew on this trip (Ridwan, Rian, Captain Sarif, Sabda, Fadli and Aprit), we are still reliving moments from this trip!”

"Absolutely wonderful 2 nights and 3 days doing dives and land through the Komodo island!! Couldn’t have asked for a better crew, who looked after us very well, with awareness and anticipation at all times. Great cook, captain , guide, and others !
Tis at the Maiko office was prompt and clear with all communication at all times and prides herself on ensuring a high level of service.
We are a family of four, including 2 children aged 14 and 10. My son, 14, have our Advanced PADI and we arranged and completed 2 dives a day. Many special sites!! So many highlights under, on and above water!”

"We (family of 5) had a wonderful time on liveaboard. Special thanks goes to the crew, in particular diving guides Albert & Eden - they makes us feel secure as we are all beginner divers. Our kids loved amazing dives, komodo dragons, good food and great support from all the staff on the boat. Excellent experience. We'll come again. And memories will stay forever :) Last but not least, whole organization was just perfect, thanx Tis"

"We did a 1 day private speed boat tour with Maika Komodo Tour. Everything was organized very easily by WhatsApp; Tis was very responsive and kind. The tour was good, and the guide was nice. The lunch was good. We visited Padar Island, Komodo National Park (where we saw two Komodo dragons), Pink Beach, then we did three snorkeling spots including Manta Point and a spot where we could see turtles. It was very nice. Maika Komodo Tour has good prices, probably the most competitive. I recommend it!"
