However, in the interest of your safety and the preservation of the unique ecosystems we visit, we kindly request all participants to adhere to our guidelines. Prior to embarking on any of our tours or diving excursions, we ask that you carefully review and acknowledge our terms and conditions. Let's embark on this incredible journey together, respecting the guidelines that ensure an exceptional experience for everyone. 1. How to book a. Fill out the booking form or confirm via Whatapp or Email and send them to Maika Komodo Tour & Diving by email ([email protected]) together with a non-refundable deposit of 30% of tour itinerary cost. b. Final payment is due to Maika Komodo Tour & Diving not later than 8 weeks prior to departure. 2. Cancellation - Cancellation prior to 8 weeks before departure, deposit forfeited. - Cancellation prior to 4 weeks before departure, 50% from full payment. - Cancellation prior to 2 weeks before departure, 100% from full payment. Should you fail to join the trip or join it after departure or leave a prior to its completion, no trip fare refund can be made. With certain situations we can put your deposit as a credit toward your future trip with Maika Komodo Tour up to two years. 3. Changing reservation Extra costs involved to accommodate any reservation changes. These costs are in addition to the price quoted to you for your initial tour. Normal cancellation fees apply if you wish to postpone your departure. 4. Insurance It is a condition of booking, that the sole responsibility lies with the customer to ensure that they carry the correct comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover themselves, as well as any dependents/traveling companions for the duration of the tour with Maika Komodo Tour & Diving. 5. Methods of payment We accept wire transfer (transfer wise, Revolut, Paypal 5% charge) and bank transfer. 6. Health and medical disclosure You declare to Maika Komodo Tour & diving that you are in a good health and able to participate in the activity. You must disclosure if you have any medical condition that may affect your ability to participate or if you are traveling against medical advice. 7. Not included Flight tickets, gratuities to guide / staff, any excursion not related to the tour, daily marine park tickets, retribution tickets, entrance fee in Komodo National Park, ranger fee, personal expenses and emergency evacuation charges. 8. Refunds Maika Komodo Tour & Diving accept no responsibility for loses or additional expenses due to delays or changes in trains, flights or other service, sickness, quarantine or other causes. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the customer. 9. Route changes, postponement, cancellation or delay, inclement weather action, and force majeure. Maika Komodo Tour & Diving reserves the right to modify routes, schedules, or departure times, and to postpone or cancel tours when conditions make it unsafe to proceed. Such decisions may be made in response to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, volcanic activity, fires, floods, government restrictions, or any other force majeure event. Please note that the 30% deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances unless Maika Komodo Tour & Diving is officially instructed by the Indonesian Harbour Master to cancel the tour due to unsafe maritime conditions. We kindly remind guests to allow sufficient travel time before their scheduled departure, as flight cancellations, travel delays, or personal emergencies do not qualify for deposit refunds. In the event of an official cancellation by our team due to conditions deemed unsafe by port authorities, a full refund will be provided or an alternative tour date may be offered at no additional cost. 10. Assumption of risk By submitting a booking and payment you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with participating in the activity. You understand all written information provided by Maika Komodo Tour & Diving 11. In case of illness and inability to dive, we need to be notified the day before 6pm before equipment and clearance prepared. Any later notification a minimum surcharge Rp 900,000 per person,per day will be charged. No show will be fully charged. 12.Our services are considered as fulfilled if we have provided at least 75% of the booked programs. 13. Please include with the payment start and finish date and time as per quoted services . Final dates subject confirmation. All prices outside our control are subject to change. 14. Equipment and Air Check are the responsibility of the certified diver. We are happy to assist with any question. 15. Maika Komodo Tour & Diving are not responsible for loss or damage of personal equipment, valuables and property. You may check valuables in at the shop before you leave. We can lock them in a locker if you prefer. 16. In case loss or damage of our Equipment , you will have to pay the cost of the products. |
