"We had amazing 3 day, 2 night tour on the liverboat with 8 dives.
The crew of the boat was extremely friendly and constantly ensured we had anything we needed.
Definitely also a big advantage to have this be one of the smaller boats with only 6-8 people, so it's still possible to get some space to yourself. There were two of us sharing a cabin which also had sufficient space to store all our things.
The food was incredibly good, especially considering we were out on the water the whole time and it had to be prepared in the rather small kitchen!
We were only two people on the boat diving and our dive instructor Yon ensured we had a great experience on each dive and got to see some incredible corals and most importantly the reef mantas.
Compared to many other operators the price is also quite cheap, so would absolutely recommend this!"

"As a couple we did 3D2N boat trip with Maika and it was perfect! The staff is very friendly and will do anything to make you feel comfortable. Our divemaster Paul speaks perfectly English and really took care of us in preparation, during and after the dive, he is a great guy just like the rest of the crew. They were flexibel about the amounts of dives which I really appreciated. The food was also great, diverse and even vegatarian choices. The shared bedroom was small but had an airconditioning. We did some diving, snorkeling and landtours, for us the perfect combination! We saw manta rays, a lot of turtles, sharks and beautiful fish/corals. We would highly recommend Maika and would definitely book again if we ever come back to LB/Komodo."

"We scheduled a private 3D/2N cruise that was coordinated through Maika. We wanted to do some dives but also wanted to do some of the other activities like Komodo trekking, watching the flying foxes at Kalong, and the Padar sunrise hike. Maika planned it out perfect fitting all of the above (plus more) with 4 scuba dives.
Our guide Paul was great! He made sure all of the activities went smoothly, briefed us before every dive, and kept us safe while diving. The crew of the Yemanja was wonderful. They were all super friendly and made us some killer good food. The boat was basic but provided everything that we needed. The room has air conditioning and the bed was comfortable.

- How many dives will I get on this trip?
Depending on conditions, you can expect up to 8 dives over the 3 days, including possible night dives. - What time does the boat return?
The boat returns between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM on the third day, depending on tides and weather conditions. - What activities are included?
Activities include diving, snorkeling, island trekking, and visiting Komodo National Park to see the famous Komodo dragons. - Do I need diving experience?
No, both beginners and certified divers are welcome. Introductory dives and PADI courses may be available upon request. - Are vegetarian or special dietary meals available?
Yes, we can accommodate vegetarian, vegan, and other dietary requirements with advance notice. - Is there a camera station for underwater photographers?

No, there is no Wi-Fi, but you may get a mobile signal in some areas. - Are park fees included in the price?
No, Komodo National Park fees are not included and must be paid separately in cash. Fees vary based on activities like diving and trekking. - Are solo travelers welcome?
Yes! We have shared cabins available, and our trips are a great way to meet fellow travelers. - Can we see manta rays year-round?
