"We had amazing 3 day, 2 night tour on the liverboat with 8 dives.
The crew of the boat was extremely friendly and constantly ensured we had anything we needed. Definitely also a big advantage to have this be one of the smaller boats with only 6-8 people, so it's still possible to get some space to yourself. There were two of us sharing a cabin which also had sufficient space to store all our things. The food was incredibly good, especially considering we were out on the water the whole time and it had to be prepared in the rather small kitchen! We were only two people on the boat diving and our dive instructor Yon ensured we had a great experience on each dive and got to see some incredible corals and most importantly the reef mantas. "As a couple we did 3D2N boat trip with Maika and it was perfect! The staff is very friendly and will do anything to make you feel comfortable. Our divemaster Paul speaks perfectly English and really took care of us in preparation, during and after the dive, he is a great guy just like the rest of the crew. They were flexibel about the amounts of dives which I really appreciated. The food was also great, diverse and even vegatarian choices. The shared bedroom was small but had an airconditioning. We did some diving, snorkeling and landtours, for us the perfect combination! We saw manta rays, a lot of turtles, sharks and beautiful fish/corals. We would highly recommend Maika and would definitely book again if we ever come back to LB/Komodo."
